Frances Carroll - MPT, BKIN

Frances is a registered Physiotherapist with a special interest in structural spinal conditions, including scoliosis and Scheuermann’s kyphosis. She has completed post-graduate training in the Schroth Method, SEAS approach, Diane Lee’s Integrated Systems Model, and IMS needling.

Frances has worked extensively with children, teens, and adults of all ages. She takes pride in offering a personalized approach to care that considers each individual’s unique background, needs, and goals. In addition to her private practice work, Frances is passionate about serving Vancouver’s most vulnerable residents at St. Paul’s Hospital, where she helps patients recover from acute illness or surgery.

Frances holds a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. With Envision, Frances looks forward to taking a deeper dive into the thorax under the mentorship of Brent Stevenson. She is also excited to begin integrating clinical Pilates into her practice in the spring of 2025.

Frances has always called the Lower Mainland home. Growing up, she was a dedicated dancer, completing the Royal Academy of Dance Solo Seal Exam in 2014. As a teen, she attended several esteemed summer programs, including those with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, and the School of American Ballet in New York. Her passion for dance sparked a lifelong interest in the human body and movement—ultimately leading her to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find Frances enjoying the great outdoors with friends and family. Whether hiking, running, backpacking, climbing, or weightlifting, she’s always up for an adventure. She also enjoys cooking, caring for her plants, and a healthy dose of lounging.
