Earlier this month, Sports Physiotherapists from Envision Physiotherapy Vancouver worked at Kits Showcase, held at Kits Beach in Vancouver. Kits Showcase (normally under the banner of KitsFest) included Basketball and Beach Volleyball for 2021. It was scaled down this year due to the pandemic. Next year, if this pandemic wanes, KitsFest plans to return with more sports, including tennis, touch football, beach yoga, etc…) as well as more sponsors, a live DJ and the beer garden.
Kitsfest was brought to life by the Canada One Foundation, with lots of hard work from Directors Howard Kelsey and Ron Putzi (to name a few) and done in cooperation with the City of Vancouver.
This community event had therapists from various clinics across the lower mainland: from our own Envision Physiotherapy, In Sync Physio, Myodetox, West 4th Physio, Royal City Physiotherapy. It was great to work with therapists from each of these clinics and I look forward to it in the future!
