About Lan
Originally from Calgary, Lan completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia after earning a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Dance) from the University of Calgary.
Lan is passionate about pelvic health physiotherapy and providing inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed care, with interests in incontinence, pelvic pain, and pre/postpartum rehabilitation. She has completed Pelvic Health Solutions Level 1 and 2, Cesarean Birth & Rehabilitation training, and Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Level 1.
She takes a collaborative, individualized approach to treatment, combining manual therapy, exercise, and education to support clients in feeling confident in their recovery and return to meaningful activity. Her part-time work at Vancouver General Hospital has exposed her to a wide range of medical, surgical, and complex health conditions, strengthening her trauma-informed, patient-centred approach across diverse populations.
With a background in dance and as a graduate of the Professional Training Program at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, she remains closely connected to the dance community and has experience working with dancers from Vancouver and beyond. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, climbing, Pilates, and exploring local coffee shops. She speaks English and Vietnamese.
