Envision Physiotherapy is owned and operated by Brent Stevenson and Harry Toor (Stevenson Toor Physiotherapist Corp). Brent and Harry have used their easy-going, but dedicated approach to build two interdisciplinary clinics focused on quality of care and health promotion.
The History of Envision
2006
A room on Broadway
Brent founded Envision Physiotherapy three years into his career — quitting his job two weeks before his wedding. He rented a room in a personal training studio at Broadway & Fir and started building his network.
2008
Brent & Harry team up
Harry joined fresh off two years working with the Canadian Men's National Ski Team. Together they opened a second location with Westcoast Family Practice in the Diamond building beside VGH.
2011
South Granville flagship
Envision grew out of the personal training studio into its own space on South Granville and added Pilates and massage to the team.
2016
False Creek expansion
Brent & Harry moved out of the Diamond building and expanded into a large clinic with a personal training studio on the False Creek Sea Wall.
All under one roof
Today Envision offers physiotherapy, pelvic floor, massage therapy, Pilates, dietitian counselling, concussion rehab, kinesiology, and personal training — a multi-disciplinary team in two Vancouver locations.
Our clinicians have overlapping but different skill sets so we can help the whole family: physios who offer IMS dry needling, physios trained in pelvic floor, physios who help with concussion management, and physios who just help keep you moving. We can move you from physio, to Pilates, to kinesiology, to personal training as your needs change.
Trained, registered, and continuously learning
All physiotherapists at Envision hold university degrees in Physiotherapy and are registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
Many hold additional certifications in manual therapy, IMS dry needling, concussion management, pelvic-floor rehabilitation, and clinical Pilates instruction — and we invest continuously in continuing education so the care you receive reflects current evidence.
